This idiot is cropping puppies' ears at home. Judging by the grammar in the post and the terrible crop job on this poor puppy, I am guessing that this is definitely not a vet. Performing surgery on a puppy without anesthesia or any pain killers is ABUSE! I sent an email to the person, not that it will do much good. The best thing we can do is get the ad off of craigslist so more puppies don't have to be butchered by this fool.

The easiest way to see if its a breeder is to goggle their phone number.

Got a canned response from Animal Control... I figured I would. Memphis is not exactly known for its wonderful animal welfare laws. Thankfully, both ads are down. Thank you everyone who helped. @lunarminx I've seen this guy around on Craigslist and figured he was a breeder. I am thinking puppy mill or bad backyard operation. Why don't the police/animal control keep an eye on craigslist? Last time I checked animal cruelty is illegal.
