So at the rescue we have a pair of females named Moo and Reese.
I was looking Moo over and noticed she had a line of fur loss on her nose, with the skin being scaly/bumpy in the area.
Since i had a problem like this with my boy Rigby, my first thought was that it's a fungal infection.
Her cage mate, Reese, has nothing like this though.
I went ahead and put Monistat on the area just in case, and we're going to see if that makes it begin to clear up at all, but I wanted some opinions on it.
Sorry, I know it's not a great picture:

She also has another problem that worried me a little bit.
She has this bump where her belly button is. We examined her cage mate and Moo's appeared to protrude more than Reese's does.
I'm not sure if that's normal or not, I was worried maybe that meant that Moo has a hernia there or something similar?

Here are the best pictures I could get of it:

Sorry, not sure how to remove the extra pictures or why the pictures are sideways. x_x

*Bump*
Any opinions?

I'd say the nose thing is fungal. Keep up with the monistat three times a day.

The other thing is hard to figure out. Is it just a scab? Does it protrude? Is there discharge? Is the area raised, like a lump?

My guess would be either fungus or an early case of cheilitis. See https://www.guinealynx.info/cheilitis.html and https://www.guinealynx.info/fungus.html and see if it looks like either of those.

Thanks for the replies! I feel very confident saying that it's not cheilitis, so I'm guessing it is probably just a fungal infection.
Will keep up the treatment with the Monistat and see if that clears it up, if not we'll schedule her a vet appointment for it.

About the thing where her belly button is, it's not a scab and there isn't any discharge, but it does protrude a little bit. Is that something to be concerned about?

It's possible that she had an umbilical hernia when she was young? At any rate, as long as she's healthy I wouldn't worry about it.

She's an outie, not an innie.

Thank you both so much, I really appreciate it. I can get a bit over-worried sometimes. :)

My Ferb has an outie, it looks like your piggie's belly button.
