General Location of Enclosure

Do any of you house your piggies in your basement? How do you provide adequate light and ventilation? Having my boys in my room which is small to begin with is proving a little cramped. I have had to sleep in the living room. However there is a spot in the basement for them. My only concern with this is that it is not well lighted, and there are no windows. Any suggestions in terms of making the basement work for these guys? I could put another lamp near their enclosure, and leave the door open alot. What do you think?
