I want to go to a GP show or convention. Anyone know of any in US?

I would really like to go to a guinea pig show! Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding any. I live on the US East Coast. Anybody know of any nearby?

I personally don't like shows. They put the animal through torment just to get them to look 'perfect' and win a prize. I've seen it in photos the pigs ears have been pierced just to get a tag on him. To me that's a form of abuse as it's not natural for gps to be dolled up like that for a show. I'll go to a rescue if I want to see a bunch of gps.

Sigh. I realize the forum is anti breeding. I wasn't actually going to ask because I was afraid of a response like that. To be honest, I've seen posts about getting pigs for show here before. IF it makes you feel any better I'm not looking to purchase or show Any pigs. I adopted both of mine. I just want to go out of curiosity.
