Want a Guinea Pig(s) I am about to get my pigs finally!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys. I am on here alot but have not actually gotten my pigs yet due to technical difficulties:sad:. Now, we have contacted a great rescue in the area and filled out an application. We are waiting to hear back from the lady who runs the rescue about two really cute pigs. I am so excited!! Any tips for first time owner?

Congrats! Just a few questions to see if you're ready:
Do you have an adequate cage ready for them?
Hay, pellets, know which veggies are best?
If boys, know you need at least a 2x6 to house them, if you're going with a C&C cage.
Found an exotic vet that knows about small animals just in case?
What signs/symptoms to look for in case of illness?
If any other pets already in the home, make sure the piggies are safe from them?
Oh, and as soon as you get them, could you please post pics? Heehee...

Yep!! I am still in the process of building my c and c cage. I found a vet by their recommendation. I am going to see them on Saturday!!! I will definitely post pics for yall!!

I am in Baton Rouge too @Mama2piggies and I brought them home finally !!!!!! @hunniechey my grandpa used to be a football coach at Central High School!!!!
