Or the breeder in question could take a hint and improve those guinea pigs' living conditions before reposting...

Or they just won't repost at all because, regardless of the conditions, breeders ARE NOT ALLOWED on Craigslist because otherwise their disgusting for-profit activities take homes from animals genuinely needing rehoming. And if they do repost, they'll keep getting flagged for their violation of Criaglist terms, and maybe when they're stuck with pigs they can't sell, they'll take a hint and stop breeding.

You are not saving any pigs when you purchase from a breeder or pet store. You are directly supporting the abuse & overpopulation.
You are putting money in their pockets, making sure yet another sow will be back bred under bad conditions replacing the ones you bought, and another pig will die homeless in a shelter or rescue.

Yes, it's sad that these pigs were born in the first place & stuck in this situation. That's the selfishness of the breeder.
But if you purchase them, you make absolutely sure it will happen again, again & again. And you can't save the next litter, or the pig you could have adopted instead. We can't save them all, but we can refuse to support this insanity & eventually we will see results.
