I have two designs im trying to choose from, one im not sure about the structural integrity of and would like some input on that aspect, the other is just the alternative if the first doesnt work, here they are! (Sorry for my terrible use of this program haha)

Oh, I like the top one!! It has a big floors space, but also room to get away from each other. Defintly the top one for me!

Oh i should have been more descriptive! The bottom is just the stand, in the top design the stand has an area for the coroplast and everything from the old cage to put them in while im cleaning the big one, but im not sure about stability

I think the top design might end up being a little wobbly in the middle, on the side with less support. The thickness of the coroplast you were using would probably make a big difference though. I reinforced some parts of my cage, that seemed a little saggy, with some strange metal 'things' I had lying around. I just cable tied them to the underneath.

I wonder if you could put wooden dowels just under the cage through the stand grids for extra support on the top model.

Bottom design, looks more sturdy and provides more storage
good to meet someone else who uses sketch up. I'm an interior design major and we were told to learn to use it on our own time

I think this is what im going to do, the support bar im using is actually the extendable long rod from the medium cage lid so it's round, but i think i can fashion it so that it doesnt make the cage on top pop up.
Somewhat like this

If that makes any sense
Do you guys think that will work?

Thanks what I was thinking you could do with wooden dowels. The only thing I'm thinking is I would put 2 or 3 for support. What about 1x1's. I think they would slip right through the grids and fit nicely. Pinky has posted some of the cages she's built and used 1x1's to support the Loft.

For clarification the 1x1 is wooden.

Thank you a lot for that link, thats a really really neat cage, she did end up using a shower rod or something for support over the bottom cage i believe? Thats essentially what im thinking about doing with the extendable long rod i had already from the medium cage lid, im not making it a multilevel cage, just an area they can go in while im cleaning the upper cage, so i dont believe ill need to make a flip side, especially because theres another entire grid level so i should just be able to lift the coro up and out of the bottom cage if that makes sense (i could also modify it to hold a piggy if she so happens to get sick) but i might look into that design of the dual level cage if i decide to get more grids later on
