Help dating my radio!

I have an old, working radio in fairly nice condition. I've been trying to guess how old it is, but I'm at a loss. It only gets AM. I just moved it to where it is now; that's why the carpet looks funny. Thanks in advance.

I'm certainly no expert on antiques, but I would put it late 40's eary 50's.

I think the age gap is just too much to overcome.

I've always thought there was something classy about him... He might be a little worn at the moment, but give me some time and think of what I could do with him!

Well, I'm not an expert either, but I do remember a radio we had when I was a kid that was kind of similar to that one. I poked around on E-Bay a little too, and I think it probably dates back to the 30's.

Thats pretty old . I would have it apraised and maybe refinished . You never know who might collect something like that and how much they would be willing to pay. Its worth doing the research .
