Hello All from Washington!

Hello everybody,

I'm Chelsea, I live in Washington. I've had a lot of different animals growing up (dogs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters and a corn snake) so when my husband and I wanted to get a pet I was super excited about it! He always had guinea pigs growing up and wanted to get another one. So we are now the proud parents of Mr. Sprinkles! We are already looking into adopting a friend for him, I've been looking around at petfinder.com and craigslist for one to adopt, as well as building a C&C cage in my head for a few days now.

I've gotten a lot of help from this forum already and I am looking forward to getting more advice in the future!

He's day dreaming about veggies in the first pic

He is a he! I'm trying to find a perfect friend for him, does anyone have a recommendation for a shelter to try in Washington? All I've found so far is boys who are already bonded with another piggie.

He does look like is is daydreaming! I love it

Some of my pigs daydream before it's veggie time. Then they wheek like crazy.

I've been looking on petfinder and only found pairs.

He freaks out when he hears the drawer in the fridge open because he knows the veggies are in there. Its my favorite times of the day!

Oh. To bad you aren't in NC, I know of about 4 or so male pigs who are for adoption seperately.

ETA-Have you checked craigslist? Or do you have a craigslist for a city near you or have one for your city?

I'm waiting to hear back on a couple ads on there. A couple that sounded promising didn't specify the sex of the piggie.
