I am looking for hay rack ideas! I'm not very happy with the one I'm currently using. What kind are you using? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 2x2 c&c hayloft/hayroom with a bent grid suspended rack. If you look in my photo gallery you will find pics.

I have a hayrack which originated as a bird seed holder. Other people I know have had great success with them too, and they are so cheap. You'll find a picture of it in my gallery.

Thanks! Is it a suet holder? What a great idea!

Thank you everyone for your great ideas! Everyone is so creative here! I also remember someone using a shower rack or something from the dollar store. Have you heard of using that?

I have a plant holder as a hay rack. It's one of those half ones, that fit's snug against the wall. it's really good.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I still can't get over how creative you guys are. Now my problem is deciding which hay rack to try out first!

Thanks again.

I have one like the shower rack, except mine is rectangular. I also have the hanging suet holder. I use that one mostly if I'm going to be away for a day or so and fill it with cilantro and other veggies. It keeps Percy from eating everything right away.

I just use a bent grid. I alternate between carboard boxes and a box I made myself out of coroplast and attach it to the cage with binder clips. It works very well, and I am able to change heights to keep it fun for the piggies, they love to climb inside:

Here is a pic of Nismo IN the hayrack

And one setting of the hay rack. I move it around often though, which is easy to do with the binder clips

I use a bent grid too and it works really, really well. It's also fun for the piggies too!
