Cage Is this Hay Rack Safe?

This is my first post. I am not sure how to fix the picture from being sideways. We have this hay rack in our cage. I have heard stories where guinea pigs get stuck. Is this one safe for our piggy?

Any metal hay rack that a pig can get into can cause injuries. I've known of several sprained/broken legs when a pig got startled and tried to jump out. I gave up on the racks and just put hay in a pile on the cage floor.
