One should know exactly what they are feeding their pigs. Please get a name for the pellets and an ingredients list also. It's possible you could be feeding rabbit pellets (which do not contain vitamin C and also have added bacterias for the rabbits that pigs don't need) or they could be some very low quality guinea pig pellets.

It's bad if they are rabbit pellets or if they are low quality pellets. That's why you need to find out the brand name of the pellets and try to get an ingredients list for the pellets.

You could, but it would be better to get them on a brand that is trusted instead of some no name stuff. Have you called or gone by the feedstore to get the brand or ingredients list yet?

I feed an alfalfa based pellets to my adult pigs. ( Exel Burgess ).
Because its the only decent pellet that I could find.

Excell is alfalfa based ???? I didn't know that. But yeah it's the only decent pellet in this country of ours. Excell now have blackberry with oregano pellets.9% calcium.Got some today. Pigs seem to like it. Look like piggie poop lol
