first time owners

hello all , we will be proud owners of guinea pigs in 2 weeks and was needing as much advice as ,hints,tips ect from all of you !!

Welcome! And here's my standard recommendation to all who are new to guinea pigs.

1) Read Guinea Pig Education, Care, Rescue and Adoption at Cavy Spirit.

2) Read the main page of Guinea Pig Cages, Your Cavy At Home for information on cage sizes.

3) Read the stickies at the top of the forums here, particularly the food chart, food chart discussion, and sample menus on Diet and Nutrition.

4) Look through the photo galleries for ideas about cages, bedding, etc.

And come back and post any questions you have after all that reading.
