As you know I had been having problems with all the piggies getting along. As some of you know I am heading off to the police academy today and my boyfriend will be watching the piggies (we live together). I wound up separating James' big 3 X 5 cage into 3 separate cages because of the constant fighting. The two younger ones have their own section each and the older piggies have their own "loft." I have to give myself a pat on the back because it looks really good and its convenient for my boyfriend.
My question is I bought the coroplast from Kinkos because I needed it right away. I bought three 4 X 3 pieces. They charged me $40.00 per piece totaling $120.00 plus tax. Did I just get ripped off? I would have ordered three 3 X 2 pieces (thats what each cage is) from Sue if I didn't need them right away. I'm looking on the site and Sue charges about the same and thats with shipping too. What is the general all around average price of coroplast so I know where to go in the future?

You got completely ripped off. I can get mine for about $11 per sheet. The most I would pay would be $25 per sheet.

Mine was $35 for a 4'X8' sheet of yellow coroplast. I factored in the convenience factor of the sign shop about 5 minutes from my house and decided not to look further. The price Kinko's charged you seems pretty outrageous to me.

Mine was $25 for a 4'x8' sheet of white coroplast. I got it from a guy who has a sign shop that he runs out of his home. Kinko's was the next stop we were going to look if we couldn't find a sign shop near us.

Yep, You got Hosed alright!
I think you should tell Kinko's you'll not be recommending their business to any of your friends, and that you're not happy they overcharged you by huge amounts! My 4x8 sheet was $16.00 at a local Sign store, and another store in my area charges $20.00. We have one store that downright refused to sell coroplast, think they are afraid people might try and make signs and make a profit from their coroplast.

Check with some sign stores in your area, write down their prices, and call up the Kinko's and hose them back. There's no earthly reason why they should even think of charging that much (except for the fact that Kinko's overcharges for everything).
