Hi everyone,
Can vegetarians eat curry sauce and curries? I am a vegeterian the last month:D.
Thanks
(Sorry if this is a stupid question )

Yes, of course. :)
I've been a veggie since birth and we have curry about once a week (my Dad makes it). If you're using a jar of source, just check it's suitable for vegetarians, then chuck in a load of yummy veggies with it. My favourite curry is saag aloo (spinach and potato). It's yum!

I don't know, Sorry.

There are no stupid questions just stupid answers:eek:ptimist:.

My dad makes curry sauce at home aswell but what about the ones that you get in take-aways?

Takeaways are fine too. As long as you're not ordering a meat curry, there will be no meat in it. The sauce itself is just things like tomato, spices, onion etc.

Just realised I spelled "sauce" wrong on my first post, sorry.

I eat, make and buy a lot of vegan curries. They use coconut instead of creame in the sauces (which is delicious) usually with tofu and/or rice.

Of course, most Indians are veggies, most curries are vegetarian, if you go to any Indian restaurant there are more veggies, just look On line and you can find great sites on how to make them!

Ok thanks everyone! I posted this because loads of people are saying that they put meat in the curry sauce to make it taste nice. I thought I was going to have to go without curries! lol
