im trying to get a custom avatar but all of my pictures are over 80x80 pixels. how do i make the picture have less pixels without cutting off the picture.

If you have microsoft office picture manager on your computer, just open the picture and go to "edit picture" and select" resize"... than you can customize the size of your image.

Ok, well, here goes.

If you are using paint, then hit IMAGE, ATTRIBUTES. Tick the box (inder UNITS) where it says PIXELS. Type in 80 in either the length or width, whichever has the higher value. Adjust the other way (either length or width) accordingly to keep the pig-ture proportional.

If you are using Adobe, just click IMAGE, RESIZE, and IMAGE SIZE. Use the pulldown menus to make the units pixels. Check the box on the bottom that says "constrain proportions". Then, change the largest value to 80, and the other will automatically be changed to be proprotional.

Those are the more common ones, so I hope that can help you. =)

It was one of the avatars from this website when I joined. I notice they've changed them since then, though, so I don't know where you can get it now. Thanks, and sorry it's not there anymore! =)

You can also upload your own photo. I just put up our newest little girl, Lily. She is almost 4 weeks old and is a beautiful gold, black and white tricolor. My 11 yr old was holding her. She weighs 4 oz.

If you put up your own photo, just make sure it is no larger than 80x80.
