Over the last month Charlie has gone from 2.51 lbs to 2.41 lbs.
When I noticed the loss I called the vet to see if he thought I should bring him in but since he was eating, drinking, active with no signs of respiratory issues - the vet told me to just keep an eye on his weight and general health symptoms.
I was out of town for an emergency this past weekend and the pig sitter told me during her second check on Saturday that Charlie had not eaten all of his food as he usually does (she is a regular person who checks on them when I am out of town). She also said that he was staying in his hidey a lot.
The same was the case on Sunday. He had eaten his carrot, but not all of his bell pepper or green leaf.
He also had not eaten all of his pellets but he was eating his hay and drinking water.
I came home today to find he had not eaten all of his food from Sunday night.
His nose was a little damp and I am worried that he has a URI.
Might be a little premature but I feed his some critical care tonight. He gobbled it up when it was still a little warm (I put a little warm water in it to keep it from lumping up).
He didn't want to eat his green pepper but he ate a piece of the red and his carrot.
I am taking him to the vet tomorrow.
Any suggestions on what I should ask and look for while at the vet visit would be a help.
