C&C Alternatives 4'x4' new cage

Well I haven't posted in a long time. Since this past October Chuck has passed away and FirePig has been lonely so we decided to adopt a new piggy. His name is Frankie and this is the new 4'x4' cage with a separator of course. Frankie's cage mate did just pass also so I'm hoping they get along quickly but of course I won't rush anything. Well this is the new cage liking to add toys after we pick him up.

May I ask, what is the divider for?

It's for the new piggy we are adopting today. We are using the divider to keep them apart till they are bonded.

Since you're not quarantining, why don't you just go ahead and introduce them and put them together? What you're apt to get with that set up is a lot of bar chewing.

Here is the new piggy Frankie. He loves his new cage and both pigs seem to be content with each other. Guessing the separator can come out in a few days.

You're risking all out war by just pulling the divider out. Each one is very likely to defend his side of the cage from the intruder. Read https://guinea-pigs.livejournal.com/3002707.html for how to introduce guinea pigs to each other.

No all out war they love each other so much. Not one fight or anything. Neither is protective of anything they both had cage mates before and love having the company again. Just wanted to do a update since they have been together for over a month now.
