Ok, so this is pretty messed up. Apparently the cops just found someone who had...250 guinea pigs in their back yard! Shocking....

Actually, reading more of the thread there's 150, not 250. But still, 150 Guinea Pigs ANYWHERE (unless it's like a 10 acre farm lol) is sick. >(

However, it's pretty much a guarantee that 150 will turn into around 250 (voice of experience, not to mention common sense). Help, money and adopters will be desperately needed.

Yeah, it is sad. However, I live in Seattle and will definitely take advantage of giving a pig or two a loving home now Hopefully more people out there can do the same...

It sounds like they might need some foster homes even if you can't provide a forever home. And I'd like to know how long they will kept and what will happen to those not adopted after that time.
