This may sound harsh but perhaps you should put off owning another pet until you're old enough to have a job and a car and don't have to depend on someone else to take YOUR pet to a vet!! Snuffles suffered needlessly.

Do you have any idea if this is her first litter? If it is you need to get her to a vet as I believ I read that 9 months if a bit old for a first litter and there could be complications come birthing time.

I know you don't want to spend the money but really the best thing is take her to the vet. You've already tried 1 thing that didn't work, don't put yourself or her through any more unhelpfull treatments. And in the long run you'll be wasting money giving treatments that aren't working.
