what did u use to make the ramp?

Looks great! Is Rodney all alone in there? It looks like you have more than enough room to add another guinea pig... (hint hint!)

WOW! This is an amzing cage. I was going to ask the same thing envisionary asked: Is he all alone in there? He's one lucky piggie.

He must be the happiest piggy with ALL that room!!! I have a 2 by 6 for my five girls and am just waiting to get some coroplast to expand it but even with that space they're very happy!

To answer your question about the ramp, I used two grids, and a pet carpet. I bent the two grids (tried for a 90 degree angle), then zip tied the carpet to the bottom. Then I zip tied the ramp to the loft floor. I have also added fleece over the carpet because Rodney didn't like the feel of the carpet under his feet. He popcorns all the time, and he loves running laps on the lower level.

Yes he is all alone in there for now. We are going to a piggie adoption meet at the end of the month to get him a friend or two. He is my little baby and I spoil him as much as I can. If you look close you can see his chair, bed, cuddle cup, swing, and tent. He also has a tube, chew sticks, three food bowls, and three kinds of hay to nibble on. I changed the two water bottles on the second level to bigger ones so when the new piggies come, we won't have to worry about running out of fresh clean water.

Update: Rodney and I went to the adoption meet in July and we found a cute little girl to bring home. Her name is Tinker Bell and Rodney fell in LOVE with her immediately. She is in the photo displayed under my name (she is the one on the left). They have gotten used to each other in the last couple of months and they love their house. I am currently looking for another playmate/roommate for them (maybe even two). I love spending time with them so much, and there are so many little piggies out there without a forever home.
