The first guineapig I ever owned well my sister owned but I took care of was a little black and white sow named baby! (My little sister named her) we have had her since 2007 and she died yesterday July 10, 2013. The last year of her life she was very sick...she had two large tumors under her belly....about a week ago she became bloated and it took a lot out of her to get a squeak out....yesterday my little brother had went into the guineapig room to show a friend the 2/5 cage that amazes any one who doesn't know about guineapigs!! When they found poor baby laying on her side having trouble breathing...my sister picked her up and heald her until she took her last breath...she gave one last squeak before she died....my sister brother and mother were balling for an hour...we had to burry her at my grandmothers house because we were afraid of our cats causing some problems...we wrapped her in a yellow cloth (my sisters favorite color) in a nice box with bedding in the bottom and a carrot and a piece of celery.... She lived a long and happy life! You will be missed!
