Anyone that sells an animal that needs special care and attention like the skinnys should be required to provide accurate info on them (they really shouldn't be sold or even breed, but if your going to at least give the animals some thought). When I got my girl (from a large pet store because I didn't know better) there were 3 skinnies in the store also, but they were about 3 times the price of a regular piggy and I asked a clerk about them and she said that it was because they were a "better" breed and were in high demand. I couldn't believe what I found out about them after. The good thing was that they were not placed in the direct light in the store and had tons of veggies and stuff, but that means that they knew about the health risk and just didn't bother to tell me. I feel bad for all the ones that are being bought by unexperienced and uneducated owners.
