Play Fun things to do with your guinea pigs to keep them entertained-any ideas?

I tried making a little maze for my boys, but it didn't go too well. I don't really know what else to do with them, but they seem pretty bored and I want them to get some exercise and have some fun. They're about three years old.
Any suggestions?

My guinea pigs love toilet paper rolls that have been stuffed with hay. I even bought a plastic cat ball with a bell in it and sometimes they play with that and roll it around.

Tunnels, piggies love to explore tunnels. They make them feel safe and work with their natural curious tendency. You can make them from grids, cardboard etc. A big cage also will work wonders for boredom.
