Placenta is still there.

Hello, my piggy, Popcorn, gave birth to four adorable babies about 7 hours ago. I've read and been told about the mommy will the placenta.
My question is, how many placentas should there have been? There's still two, but one looks smaller than the other. Do I leave it in the cage so maybe she will eat it later? I've read that they should eat to help produce milk.

If she hasn't eaten it by now, she probably isn't going to. You can take it out of the cage. She may already have eaten any others.

Okay thank you. So it won't affect her milk supply?

Baby boys have to be separated from mom and sisters at 3 weeks old. Baby girls can stay with mom longer.

Please don't give away single baby, unless the new home already has a pig with the same gender. If they don't have guinea pigs, the babies should at least go in pairs.

I don't want to give any of them away! But I can only keep one since I already have three. It's going to be hard to find new responsible owners for them :/
