What's the ingredients? I was able to find that the one for birds contains ivermectin which is safe to use for guinea pigs. If it is ivermectin it should be safe. You'll just have to find out what the correct dose is. If the bald spots are behind the ears, that's normal. Signs of mites are scratching and hair loss.

They have hair loss around the eyes, nose area with scratch marks.

Not the Durvet stuff.

@bpatters thank you for helping me to get the right thing before I bought something wrong.

I ordered what you suggested, @bpatters. It comes with a syringe. How much do I give them. I know I have to weigh them. What is the dose for each weight and can i give to the 8 week old?

The syringe it came with is probably too large. You need a 1 ml. (1 cc.) syringe, marked off in 10ths of a cc and smaller. You can get a free one at almost any pharmacy if you tell them you need one without a needle to treat a sick guinea pig.

You need a scale, kitchen scale weighing up to about five pounds, in both grams and ounces. You have to know the weight of each pig. This chart will tell you how much you can give.

The baby has to weigh at least 350 grams to be treated with ivermectin. If it doesn't weigh that much, you'll have to see a vet for some kitten Revolution.

Thank God I have a kitchen scale. Thank you @bpatters. You have been so much help. I do not see the chart though.

Thank you @bpatters, for your help in saving my piggies. The stuff you recommended really worked. Everyone got the right dose, everyone's hair has grown back and thank God, no more mites.

Glad it worked!
