Haha, she is pretty cute, but she is actually a complete monster. Very outgoing and affectionate, but also very quick to bite. She has attitude and many opinions.

Or as we Abby owners call it, "abbytude".

Just one of the many reasons I've been in love with Abbys for 30 years. In general, Abbys are quite intelligent, athletic, mischievous, vocal and communicative. We had the boys out for laptime last evening and I'm watching my husband with Sparky on his chest and they had this ongoing conversation for better than an hour. In the meantime, Chip was lying in my lap and periodically singing the entire time. The singing will start/stop in relation to how much I pet him or if he is comfortable enough to sleep. He has been making this vocalization since he was a baby when it was SO loud that we couldn't watch t.v. Fortunately, as he has matured, the volume of the vocalization has diminished to the point that we don't mind.........or simply have become accustomed to it.
