My friend sent this to me last night.
"She has a respiratory infection, we went to the vet and they said nothing was wrong but we know now that she has an infection. She might die tomorrow if we don’t get her treatment. They have antibiotics ready but we might not be able to pick it up until tomorrow, which she might not make it. She has had really loud breathing all day so please, guinea pig lover to guinea pig lover, please pray for Rhythm."
And sent this to me this morning:
"I am sorry to inform you that Rhythm is sadly dying as we speak if not dead by the time you get this, it’s hard for her to breath and she won’t even take in meds, she won’t move at all.Because of not eating, she has gotten a lot skinnier."
This is poor Rhythm:
