My mom went to farm supply the other day and bought a bag of cheap quality guinea pig food, Kaylor of Colorado Sweet Harvest. She refuses to go to petsmart and buy oxbox food. My question is: Should I feed it to therm or just not give them pellets?

What does it look like and what are the ingredients. It might be okay short term. Until you can find a way to get oxbow. Does it have coloured pieces or anything else suspect looking. I know for my two boars they've had oxbow for so long they won't eat anything else and they're only a year and a half old.My mom went to farm supply the other day and bought a bag of cheap quality guinea pig food, Kaylor of Colorado Sweet Harvest. I've heard good things about cavy cuisine. I know it isn't oxbow but I know a lot of people who feed it. Do you have any oxbow left you could stretch it by mixing (that's also how you should transition foods)She refuses to return it.
Slightly odd suggestions can you see if Canadian Amazon will ship to you just did a search and oxbow is on there, it looks just like the bag I have in my room for my two boys.Cavy Cuisine is Oxbow. Its the older type though, that's why i'm concerned. And we have no Cavy Essentials left.
