Hello all, My Peanut is seemingly a pretty healthy, active (read mischevious and hyper) ~4 month old boar. He has had a very slight rust color to his urine very recently. His diet seems in line with what has been recommened and no major swiches recently except to oxbow cavy performance a week ago from a petstore brand pellet. The only weird things are that he doesn't eat much hay. He's tried many kinds and it is always available, but doesn't seem to eat it nearly as much as your pigs. Also, there is a red rug that he feels that he must pull at during floor time (he has the run of the small apartment living room for many hours each day, but always supervised). The rug has been moved, but I was originally trying to train him to leave it alone so he nipped at it several times. I'm not sure if he is passing the dyes perhaps??
Is this a sign of something I should be concerned about? I am leaving him with a sitter on Sat for 9 days so I am especially concerned.
Thank you all. I value your experience and knowlege!
