URI/Upper Respiratory Infection Nose bleed

Charlie has a uri and is on antibiotics for it, however I was looking at his nose tonight and it looks like there is dried blood inside one of his nostrils. Is this normal for a uri? I'm going to call his vets in the morning but just wondering what everyone thought.
 
I believe that sometimes the irritation can cause some bleeding inside the nasal cavities. But it's a good idea to check with the vet.
 
Yes that's what the vet thought too. Whew! Glad I went though to double check.
