It looks good! Are they getting along better since the cage upgrade?

they're doing good so far! A bit of rumblestrutting and chasing/mounting to start but no teeth chattering or biting/fighting. :)

They seem like they are doing OK from the pictures. Just a suggestion, I know it helped with my boars, but try removing the pigloos. Since they only have one entrance sometimes the pigs will go in and feel trapped and they will nip or fight at the door. A dominate pig could also trap a subordinate in the pigloo causing the subordinate a lot of stress.

great idea, thank you! I had considered cutting another door in the back of the pigloo but I was afraid the edges would be sharp and cut them, so I didn't. if I did remove them, should it be forever, or is there a time when it would be appropriate to put them back?

I never put mine back in. I found they took up too much room and instead put in some fleece forests and little tents made out of fleece that go in the corners of the cage. The guinea pigs can then run through the fleece elements if they feel threatened by another pig or are playing. I also have a few PVC tunnels in my cage for hiding and running through. At least 2 door ways are key for boars!

You can file or use sandpaper to file edges

I use a box. I cut the bottom off and 3 doors in it. I also put in a divided kitchen area. Basically 2 litter pans (I lined with fleece b/c I prefer it but whatever you like) and their hay with a grid dividing them. Then I covered both kitchen areas so it was just an extra covered space to 'hide' in even though it's completely open to the rest of the cage. If that makes since.

It's a little toy "guinea pig" with a bell in it. It came with an old pet store cage I had!
