Hello all! We're glad to have found this forum! We are a military family, currently stationed in VA. We've never owned guinea pigs before, but decided a few months back that it was something we were interested in. So, off to the internet we went for lots of research! This site has been an invaluable tool!!! Finally, about 2 weeks ago, we "adopted" MC, Snickers (daughter of MC), Reeses and Twix. They were listed on craigslist in our area, and we were thrilled to be able to give them a great home. No more pet store cages for them! 
They are housed in pairs in a 2x4 C&C cage that is 2 levels (3 stories, but middle is used for supplies). We're looking forward to learning all we can about guineas, and sharing our experiences with others. Thanks for having us!
