Hey. :) I'm New around here, and I was wondering how to make a ramp. I think I'll use the method of the 'bent grid with coroplast the fleece.'

As for attaching to the grid, how do I go about this, velcro maybe?

Thanks alot. Answers will be greatly appreciated.❤️

I just used cable ties to attach the bent grid ramp.

My ramp is wood with three holes in the top which attaches it with cable ties, it makes it very steady, it's then wrapped in a towel for grip. If you do use the "bent grid" method make sure it is all covered with coroplast so their feet can't get stuck.

Thanks (broken link removed) (broken link removed)!

i think I'll go with the bent grid. So do I just attach it with cable ties?

I am thinking of coroplast then fleece or towels. Do I put it up the sides too?

I didn't put coroplast up the sides, just on the bottom of the ramp, and attached the ramp with cable ties.

My bent-grid ramp is attached with lots of cable ties and i covered it in an old offcut of carpet (right up the sides) so that no feeties get caught when they're zooming around.

I went with a drain pipe from Home Depot / Lowes. It's was 5 dollars for an 8 foot tube, it's plenty big enough for a full grown piggie to go up.

here are some photos.

My piggies loves running up and down - up and down- upppp and down haha.

It's normally in the garden centers.

But don't your piggies pull the little threads off the carpet?

They don't chew it if that's what you mean. It's a very short piled carpet, perfect for giving them traction up the ramp.

How did you get the coroplast to stick to the ramp?

I use bent grid. I covered it with the cushioned drawer liner from the dollar store. My girls love it. :)
