The balls that they sell for pigs to run in.

So I took my pig to the vet today for a check up and ringworm treatment. Blah. Anywho when I was leaving the vets assistant said how cute he was etc. Then she said, "You should get him one of those balls to run around in, so cute". So what the heck is up with that?!?!? Even I owner pig for 2 weeks know better. This is just so shocking to me.

Not very many people, vets included know much about proper and appropriate guinea pig care. Exotic specialists, and informed owners yes, but normal vets and vet techs probably not.

I hope you informed her as to why that is a terrible idea so she doesnt suggest one to someone who doesnt know better.
