Hemp bedding???

Has anyone ever tried it or know of a reason why not to use it???
I have heard it's really good, but I'm hesitant to use it until I know of someone who has. I want to use in in the litter box and for my hamsters.
 
On (broken link removed) it say that hemp bedding has low dust and its quite absorbant. It also says that its a little coarse and rough on feet
 
I think it should be ok, though I know nothing about the bedding for sure. I don't know if t would be too absorbent, but I'll take Piglet's word for it. Sorry I can't help more!
