I can't remmeber the details exactly, but after a program last night on tv about supermarkets exploiting farmers and investigation of Tesco for monopolisation, Tesco has today announced that it will raise it's milk price from 18p to 22p or thereabouts. I don't know if that's per litre or per gallon. Anyway the news report seemed to say that the farmers who were getting a better deal would be suppliers to Wiseman's milk sold by Tesco. Anyone know if this is right? Seems a bit convoluted, and although it's obviously a stunt, it's something.
