Help Please

Do you have hidey house out for them during floor time and food to munch on? Make sure their aren't alot of loud noises and that the floor isn't slick. be patient, they are probably a little nervous. Teddy almost jumped out of his fur the first time he went outside.

They probably like their cage a lot. My guinea pig used to do that too. Try taking the cage away or making floor time in a different area.

My piggie has learned that floor time means he usually get treats so now he loves it.

If you have large area what I do sometimes is cover my room with newspaper and let them roam. I have veggies out there for them a hidey houses. You could also set some toys out there, they would probably love it.

They feel more comfortable when there are familiar settings around them. Make sure you have a hidey house.

I have noticed that the more often you give them floor time, the more active they will get during floor time. They need time to get comfortable in a different setting.
