What can I use to cut a grid to make a custom piece for a ramp? I am wondering if someone on my street can lend me some kind of cutters. How do I make sure the edges aren't sharp after i cut tho?

Can I just not put a grid in that space?

Where are you putting the piece on your ramp? Depending on what it is, you may be able to use coroplast or something else. I've used wire cutters before to cut a grid.

It would be the second story floor piece where the ramp comes up. I bought the pre cut 1x2 coro box and ramp from the store here. I didn't even realize i would need a special grid piece.

I'm confused what you mean by "special grid piece"? If you have a C&C you shouldn't need anything special if your cage's width is 2 grids.

I just figure out what you're talking about. What I did on mine was just overlap two grids to cover the hole in the side. I used zip ties to keep it in place. It doesn't involve any cutting and you'll still have a full grid in case you decide to re-do your cage.

The ramp comes up and tapes onto the coro. But it can't slope down if there is a grid in the way

Your cage looks amazing! Love the coordinating colors.

Hay rack might be too high for your pigs to reach.

Thank you! :)

I actually moved the hay rack up because when I had it lower, I was worried they might hop in it and over the top. I moved it up and watched them both eat from it fine. I also throw lots of their hay right on the floor of the loft too. All good! :)

I think once my new pack of grids arrives (tuesday) I will try to make a corner one out of a bent grid and see if I like that even better!

I really like this:
