It is normal to find things in the hay. The other day I found a grasshopper that was dead in the hay. Just remove it and your hay will be fine.

I purchase all my hays from KM, they have the best hay and better quality. I think KM's customer service is better also.

CO detectors should be placed low to the ground because Carbon Monoxide settles to the floor. Placed up high like smoke detectors won't give you an accurate reading of carbon monoxide.

Welcome to the world of being owned by ratties. I have 13 myself. I had to have Hyde pts a couple weeks ago, not fun. I had my one male Mowgli neutered about 2 weeks ago, he will be living with my girls eventually. Ratties are awesome pets and I am sure you will enjoy them.

I guess it depends on the piggy, some like them and some don't. I have a couple pigs that love the hammocks. I used an old dish towel and clothes pins to secure the towel over the hammocks to give them a cover. My pigs seem to really enjoy that.

My pigs love squash like speghetti, acorn, butternut/buttercup, yellow and a few others.
