Its seriously like a brick, haha. I have a mix of a gazillion zip ties, and connectors holding it together. We made sure it was sound before putting the pigs in, and its been fine.

I use a hammock as a hayrack. This way the hay stays off the floor and is easily cleaned!

My sow Lucy is under a year old, and when I first got her, she would wheek just like everyone else. But now it seems like her wheek box is broken. She can still make sounds, but they are very deep sounding. Also, I rarely hear her complete a full wheek. Is this something to be concerned about?

Yeah, I'd honestly just go buy some fleece and towels, because that basically all that really is. What I use is: Pee-Pee Pads on the very bottom, and a layer of Fleece on top.

I have a 1x1 cube sticking out of the side of my cage, and I use pee-pee pads, fleece AND carefresh in it. Then I hang one of the cavy hammocks and put the hay in it. This way, it stays in the kitchen area, it stays off the floor, and I can clean out all the spoiled hay easily. I have a picture...
