I was looking at KMS. But after reading the "Menadione Bisulfate" in the ingredient list I ruled it out. Menadione Bisulfate is potentially toxin to the kidney, liver and lungs so I stay away from it just to be on the safe side.
Which one do you think it the best option for an adult male guinea pig; Essentials, Natural Science or Organic?
Oxbow Essentials:
Ingredients

Can I give my guinea pig any type of glucosamine found in a grocery store? Right now I'm giving her the Joint Support from oxbow. But that's getting a little expensive. So I was just wondering if if got just plain glucosamine from the grocery store that would be healthy for her.
Yeah, I understand. I'm feeding one guinea pig and two rabbits. I unfortunately can't find a feed store around me that sells bales of Timothy hay. :( I live in the city so not many feed stores around me. The closest one only sells alfalfa hay.
Has anybody tried APD (American Pet Diner) 2nd bale of Timothy hay?
I usually get the 3rd cut from KMS Hayloft. But it would be over $60 for 45lbs.
I'm just wondering what kind of quality the hay is.
This is a link to the hay:

This may sound strange. But, I’m not personally allergic to hay but I talk to a lot of people that are and I’m looking for some info to give them. I also see so many people on craigslist getting rid of their pets cause of an allergy. And I want to be able to tell them they don’t need to get rid...
This may sound like a strange question. But would it be a good idea to get a hairless guinea pig a twigloo tunnel? I’m just worried because she doesn’t have any fur the twigs will scratch her skin.
I’m trying to add a little more variety to my guinea pigs diet. I’m hoping to add spinach to their diet twice a week. I was just wondering how much to add. I don’t want to add too much. Does anyone have any idea about how many leafs to add? One is a female skinny about 2 ½ years and the other is...
I’ll try to make this short. I rescued two guinea pigs about 2 weeks ago from becoming snake food. When I got them I noticed lumps on their throats. I contacted a rescue to try to help them because I could not afford to take them to the vet. One of them is sick so she has to wait to get the...
