Are timothey hay cubes/blocks the same as just timothey hay becuase they arent as messy and i would like to use them instead?

They're made of the same material, but because of the way the hay is compressed, your pig wouldn't have to chew the same way and wouldn't wear his molars down correctly. They need the loose hay.

The cubes are fine for them. They just shouldn't be used as a substitute.

My girls hate hay cubes they just ignore them.
