Bedding so IS cat litter safe for guinea pigs?

Hey,
I hear alot of mixed thoughts on cat litter for guinea pigs. So is it really safe for them? Just any regular unscented cat litter.

Unscented Yesterday's News for cats is safe. It's virtually the same as the one for small pets but cheaper.

I have read that normal/regualr cat litter has things in it that can be harmful to piggies. If I were you i would play it safe and just use small pet bedding.
