Behavior Screaming????

My guinea pigs love to be around me, especially Cornelius. However, he screams when I put him in his cage. I pick him up and he shushes. Also he will stand outside of their translucent green hut thing and stare at Barnaby (his friend/cagemate) and screech until I push him into the hut. Like what is happening ???? Have I started a bad habit????

By screaming do you mean wheeking? If so, wheeking is totally normal behaviour. Are you talking to Cornelius whenever he starts doing this? My guinea pigs scream almost every time I talk to them. He could simply be reacting to your voice (and trying to get some snacks from you)!
