Conditions Ringworm UGH!

I have ringworm on my back of my knee. I'm on a anti-fungal cream. No idea where I got it from. I heard that guinea pig sometime have it.. or can get it from me.. What do I look for..?

ring worm is not worm at all.. It;s fungal..

This would be known as cutaneous larval migrans. Don't Google if you're squeamish.

And RodentsRus is right. It's due to a fungal infection. It can be zoonotic (passed between animals and people), so just use good hygiene when handling your piggies. If your piggies have it, you'll generally see crusting. I've generally seen it around the nose and face.

I'm been VERY CARE to wash my hands before handle my guinea pig.. I even changes all the syringes I uses to give on of my girls extra water.. BUT should I be doing anything different..

P.s, I LOVE this site.. I hope never closes.. I been of other site that just all of a suddenly closes..
