My pigs just don't seem excited anymore. They just mainly stay in their pigloos and lay down. They come out to eat hay and food but they used to run around and popcorn everywhere. Any ideas what I can do for them?

Maybe they got smart and popcorn while you're not around :p

Mo would popcorn when the light is off and usually when it's early morning. Maybe they need something new with their layout perhaps?

you know I did not think of that they have their pigloos and fleece sacks and that's it I never put anything new in there. Maybe that's what they need they might be bored I guess.

I second that. We rotate through toys/hideys.

Some people also hide food bits throughout the cage for the piggies to find.

Maybe they're getting older. They start settling down around 2 - 3 years.

they are only 4 or 5 months, I feel bad that they are not entertained now. I broke my ankle in January I should know how annoying it is to see the same stuff over and over again. I will make them some new stuff soon.

I'm sure they'll enjoy the new stuff. I'm with the others who rotate toys, hideys, cuddle cups, etc. and it does seem to keep the girls' interest.

My pigs got pretty lazy this winter, but since we are getting some good weather now, I will be letting them play outside some.... I hope to get their garden planted sometime soon!
