I did two weeks so it's not the same each week

Make sure you don't load fruits into their cage :) its high in sugars so give in moderation! I would also make sure ANY fruit you give them you google first (Make sure it won't harm them). I also do know that acidy fruits ( i.e oranges) can give them sores. But still, oranges are safe. Just be aware that it can do that xD

You have a nice variety but,,,,,,,, you should give lettuce (green leaf, red leaf, romaine, endive, raddichio, boston etc) everyday,(you only have it as 2 times per week) and you should give at least 2 different types of lettuce. And same with bell peppers they need to be given everyday (exept red and orange they can be fed only 2-4 times a wheek), 1/3-1/2 of a cucumber per pig ? maybe a 1 inch slice about 2-4 times per week. 1/3 of an apple, and pear per pig?? no, 1/2 a carrot per pig are you talking about baby carrots or full sized ones?? I cut up one carrot (full size) and split it be-tween 4 pigs! beans can and should be fed 2-4 times a week, 2 per pig, cherry tomatoes can/should be fed almost everyday 1-2 per pig,,,, I will give you a list of safe foods, this was made by our diet specialist here: https://www.guineapigcages.com/foru...y-nutrition-charts-poisonous-plants-list.html

Yes, I know and by 'any fruit' it means whatever i pick for them that week, its usually between watermelon-apple-pear or if I wanna try a new fruit with them , :) thanks :)

I do give lettuce everyday it is just that it doesn't say it as It hasn't been updated.
I give them green leaf, red leaf and romaine lettuce mixed.
I'm talking about the carrots I grow at home, they are not small nor big one but medium sized.
My pigs aren't a big fan of tomatoes, so I don't bother them by feeding them it everyday.

I have seen that list.

Yes silver beet. I had asked around before I finished it and everyone else said It was fine. Could you please be nicer?

It is fine. My piggies are happy, and healthy.
I was just trying to help you before. You didn't have to go off at me.

No need to be rude. It is perfectly fine to feed a small amount of fruit two times per week. And How is cucumber once per week too much?

@RodentCuddles your menu looks fine to me!

Silver beet is another name for chard, which is a leafy green vegetable.

ETA: for those that don't know, Silver beet or swiss chard is listed as a vegetable that can be fed daily on the nutrition chart posted on here. It is a great veggie for piggies.

How come I feed to much apple and pear?
I feed apple once every week and pear once every two weeks. I'm confused??

no, it is not to be fed almost daily, LY&Pigs stated that at the top of her list.,

shes feeding 1/3 to 1/2 of a cucumber , yeah, its once a week but , she should only be giving about a 1 inch slick 2 or so times a week, and she was feeding 1/3 of an apple a week and 1/3 of a pear every 2 weeks , dont you think its a lil much ?

Im just trying to help , I dont want your pigs to get diarrhea (from to much watery veggies) or diabetes (from too much sugary fruits) I am sorry if I came off rude, I was not trying to be, just looking out for the healt of ur pigs :)

you feed 1/3 of an apple PER PIG,, I could see giving 1/3 of an apple to maybe 2-4 pigs, but for 1 , no . they should get one fruit a week, and only a bit , like a small chunk of a apple, maybe 1/8 of an apple at the most, oh, and your list is a bit confusing.

This isn't about my feeding table it is about yours.
I'm fine and happy with my feeding time table and so are my boys and girl.

if its about mine, then whats wrong with mine?

You have to many Cherry Tomatos, that is just my thoughts though.

Tomatoes as most fruits are high in acid and if fed on a daily basis will cause sores in its mouth.
This might not be true but it is what I know of it.
