Genitals Help determining gender of piggie

Adopted a New Guinea pig today. The people I got them from claim it to be a female but to me it doesn’t appear so. Can anyone help determine the gender?

The second picture is too fuzzy to tell anything about it. The first one looks male, but it would really be good if you could post clear, well-lit, close up pictures so we could see better.

That's a male.

Definitely a boy. I also have a smaller boar who I had a hard time determining the sex of because he's, well, extra small

It's a boy. But when you do take the small one for a vet check-up, you can ask there too just to be sure.
