Is 2x1 grid enough for 1 hedgie? Please post pics ofour hedgehog c and c cages if u can. Im planning on making a 3 level home. Anyone know how to make ramps?

Mine is roughly 2x2. It is kinda small but I am hoping to upgrade it sometime in the future. Well it is much better to what he had before.:melodrama

Each of our boys has 8 'squares' worth of floor space; a 2x3 base with a second 1x2 layer half way up for each of them. Does your hedgie have a wheel? They need LOTS of exercise and are very prone to fatty liver disease and obesity. It's really important to give as much space as you possible can. The guide to guinea pig square footage on the main page of guineapigcages.com is also a good guide for hedgies... so a 2x3 or 2x4 is really your best bet.
